We are delighted to announce our team selections for the 2018 season.
We have had a huge number of problems with the new registration system so thank you for your patience. If you have registered and your player is not on a team list please contact your Grade Manager.
We have had over 100 team placement requests for our First Kicks teams. We have tried to accomodate as many of these as we can but as you can appreciate it is impossible to sort them all. Thank you for your understanding.

In 2018 we have picked a large Under 17 A team squad. The reasoning behind this is that a number of these players will be involved in the senior first team or reserves set up throughout the year and although they will be in the under 17 squad we want to give these talented players every opportunity to play at the highest level possible without leaving our 17 A squad short. We have also named our second team as a development squad as a reflection of the depth and quality of players we have at this age group and that we do still see them as an important part of our development pathway.

If your player is not listed here they will still be placed in a competitive team as soon as registration closes (March 11th).
Please ensure that your player is registered for the 2018 season.
Team selections are just a snapshot of this moment in time, players improve at different rates and at different times. The most important thing you can do at this young age, regardless of what team you have been selected for is to continue to work hard in training and games and spend as much time playing football as you can. Players with the right work ethic and commitment always rise to the top over time.
If your player would like to improve we highly suggest attending the CTFC Academy Development Program - http://ctfc.co.nz/news/261/18/CTFC-February-Newsletter-and-Academy-registration - which is open to all players who want to improve. This year at 10th grade trials 8 of the top 11 scorers from the first trial were CTFC Academy players in 2017 and in 11th grade 10/11 of the top scorers were Academy players in 2017 which shows how effective the program has been for improving players within our club.
Although the selected teams will initially be placed in A/B bands respectively, after 6 weeks of the season these are re-assessed by Mainland football and teams may be moved to create more competitive and even games.
